Most of my clients prefer to remain unnamed, for understandable reasons. The work happens in confidence and the relationships are private. The examples below are real, the outcomes are accurate, and the details have been adjusted only to protect the clients' identities.
A founder in business sale advisory
This founder had built a successful business helping owners exit and retire, but he knew that growth meant standing out in a market where most of his competitors were doing the same thing he was. He recognised early that a book, written and positioned well, would give him something his rivals didn't have and turn every conversation into one worth having.
The book explored life after business. What owners stood to gain, or quietly lose, by not thinking carefully about what came next. It gave his clients a window into a future they hadn't yet considered, and it gave him the conversation his competitors couldn't start.
Used at conferences and in one-to-one meetings, the book directly generated more than £350,000 of new business over the following two years. A founder in recruitment
This founder had spent years trying to get through the door of two of the largest employers in his county, with no success. Cold approaches, mailshots, networking events, all of it had taken him precisely nowhere.
We discussed what role a book could play, and how the right one, positioned carefully, could put him directly in front of the decision-makers who had previously been out of reach.
After publication, the book was sent to both companies with a handwritten note and a marked passage suggesting how the thinking inside might be useful to their staff retention challenges. Both responded. Within weeks he was inside their offices discussing recruitment. There are plenty of book coaches, developmental editors, ghostwriters and people offering to help you write your book. Almost none of them can publish it.

Every author arrives with a different set of needs, a different tolerance for time investment, and a different relationship with the writing itself. I offer three distinct partnerships, each priced and positioned for the kind of engagement it actually involves. Whatever the route, the destination is the same. All three include publication through my imprint and entry into the same awards my titles have been finalists for seven years running.

For the founder, executive or public figure who wants the strategic foundation in place before deciding how the book gets written.
This is an intensive engagement that produces a complete architectural document for your book. It includes deep voice analysis through structured interviews, audience and positioning work, a full chapter-by-chapter structure, narrative arc, and a clear roadmap for execution. You leave with something genuinely valuable, a document that defines exactly what your book is, who it's for, and how it should be written.
What you do with that blueprint is up to you. Some clients take it and write the book themselves, others hand it to a writer of their choosing. Many use it as the foundation for upgrading into one of the deeper partnerships below, in which case the blueprint fee is credited against the larger engagement.
This is also the right starting point for anyone who isn't yet sure whether the book they have in mind is the book they should actually be writing. The blueprint process tends to clarify that question quickly, and saves you from a much larger investment in the wrong direction.

For the author who wants to write the book themselves, but understands that writing well and writing strategically are different skills, and wants the expertise of someone who does both alongside them throughout.
This partnership begins with the full Book Blueprint, then continues as a structured developmental relationship through the writing of your manuscript. We meet regularly. I review your chapters as they emerge and give you genuine, useful editorial feedback. I keep the structure honest, the voice consistent, and the work moving forward when momentum dips, which it will, because writing a book is hard and that's why most people who start one never finish.
By the time we reach the end, you have a manuscript that is unambiguously yours, written in your voice, with your thinking and your stories, but shaped by someone who has done this many times and knows what makes the difference between a book that exists and a book that works. We then move into publication through my imprint, with full editorial, design and production support, and entry into the Business Book of the Year Awards.
This is the partnership most of my best clients choose, and it's the one I most enjoy delivering, because the work is genuinely collaborative and the result is something the author has actually authored.

I lead strategy, voice, structure and creative direction throughout. The writing is delivered either by me personally or by a vetted writer working under my direct supervision, decided on a project-by-project basis according to what serves the book best. Either way, you are working with one strategic partner from beginning to end, and the work meets the same standard whether my hands are on the keyboard or someone else's working from my brief.
The full partnership includes the Book Blueprint, the complete writing of your manuscript, full publication through my imprint, launch support, and entry into the Business Book of the Year Awards (for business books only, other awards will be discussed where relevant). It is the most demanding engagement I offer, the most expensive, and the one with the highest stakes for both of us. It is also where my work has consistently produced the strongest results, because the clients who choose this tier tend to be the ones who understand exactly what they're investing in and why.

Before a single word of your book is written, I spend time getting to know how you think, how you speak and how you tell a story. Through a series of in-depth interviews, I listen, really listen, to the way you explain things, the phrases you naturally reach for, the rhythm of your language when you're at your most animated. This is the foundation everything else is built on. When your readers open this book, they will hear you on every page. Our interviews are recorded and transcribed for my use only.

Only once I truly understand your voice do I develop the structure of your book. The chapters, the arc, the narrative thread that runs through everything. You review, refine and approve before any further work begins.

Depending on which tier we are working in, this is either you writing with my developmental support, or me writing under your direction with regular check-ins. Either way, the work is consistent in voice and structure because the foundations laid in steps two and three hold throughout.

How We Begin
Every engagement starts with a free twenty-minute fit call. The purpose is to determine whether your book and my partnership are a sensible match, and whether the chemistry is right for the kind of close work this involves. It is not a strategy session, and it is not the place where I solve your book's problems on the call. It is a conversation about whether we should keep talking.
If we both decide there's a fit, the next step is a paid strategic session at £950, designed to give you genuine, substantive input on your book before you commit to a full engagement. We spend ninety minutes working through your concept, your audience, your positioning and the realistic scope of what this could become. You leave with clarity, regardless of whether you proceed any further with me. If you do proceed into one of the three partnerships, the £950 is credited against the engagement.
This structure exists because my time is finite, my work is genuinely good, and the people who hire me deserve to be the ones who take this seriously. It also means our first proper conversation is one where you've already made a small commitment, and I've already given you something of value, which is a much better foundation for the work that follows than a free consultation pretending to be anything else.
